Pregnancy is not a disease, yet we lose so many mothers for reasons that can be prevented. In 2020 for instance, we lost about 82,000 mothers due to pregnancy-related complications!

Maternal Health Expense Alleviation (HEAL) Scheme
The Maternal HEAL Scheme is designed to eliminate financial barriers that prevent pregnant women in Nigeria from accessing quality maternal healthcare. Many mothers face life-threatening risks due to the high cost of care.
Through this scheme, we provide free maternity insurance to cover essential medical expenses, including antenatal care, delivery, and emergencies. By removing these financial obstacles, we ensure that no woman is denied the care she needs, saving lives and reducing maternal morbidity & mortality in our communities.
